Our Band the Boyfriends played Johnny’s many times in the late sixties.
Always had a huge crowd of teenagers back then. Johnny would fly his plane over the beach in Ludington with a speaker announcing who was playing that weekend or night, trying to get the beach crowd to come down to the club. He must have throttled the engine back or glided, because I call recall being able to hear what he was saying from the beach, without a problem. Had a great time there…
Aaron Vigil to me
Hey Doug, i received a call from Johnny today. he had been in the hospital and was returning my call on the song. he says he played “if i could dream” by Elvis and also would play “wonderland by night” n sometimes he would play the flip side of this one. i thanked him for his call and all the great memories. mystery solved.
Thanks Aaron for your help in finding out the Song. Admin: Doug Taylor
