Early Jazz and Blues, Classic Country and Modern Folk. (Guitar, mandolin, vocals)
Currently living in Chicago, Michelle grew up in Lowell on a small farm in a log house her family built. She started on piano at an early age and studied with Rich Ridenour in Grand Rapids. She has performed at the old Second City Detroit where she understudied while attending the University of Michigan in the Theater Department. She later toured the country with the Auto Show before ending up in Chicago. Since moving, Michelle has been active in the Chicago Cabaret Professionals performing in shows and showcases as well as masterclasses with Andrea Marcovicci and Ann Hampton Callaway. Recently transitioning to guitar and mandolin, Michelle loves to explore the early jazz and blues, classic country and modern folk.
