Our Theater

Leonard St. (East side of Kuzzins Bar, AKA Silver cloud)

Dave Kalmbach used it as a Recording Studio. He would use the theater as a recording studio, after the feature movie was shown. It also had a Theater Pipe Organ in it that he would use on some song recordings.

Gorgo is a 1961 British Giant monster movie. Directed by Eugène Lourié, it tells the story of an underwater monster’s capture off the coast of Ireland. The monster is taken to London to be featured as a circus attraction.

Directed by Phil Karlson. Starring Pat Crowley, Dennis Hopper, Corey Allen. An average Los Angeles citizen witnesses a gang murder when he stops to use a telephone.

 
Peter Carlberg bought the Our Theater in the early 70’s to house Photographers Workshop.

    I believe this place was a club I played (across the street from the Canopy or Caravan Club) with Jerry Pawee (horns) and Art Mosier (organ).
